Description

The ergoPouch Hip Harness Cocoon Swaddle bag is designed for babies who wear a brace to treat Development Dysplasia of the Hip. 

The ergoPouch Cocoon is a baby swaddle and sleep bag designed to be easy to use and difficult for baby to escape from. The zip up design will keep baby snug and securely swaddled without the need for complicated wrapping. 


Features:

  • Keeps baby snug and securely swaddled

  • Stretch cotton allows baby to move their hands into a comfortable position to suit them, without waking
  • Made from skin friendly, breathable organic cotton and bamboo

The Hip Harness Cocoon Swaddle Bag has been tested to fit the Pavlik Harness, Denis Browne Brace and Rhino Brace. Please use your child's weight to find the most appropriate and safe size for them.

To comply with safety requirements, the ergoPouch Cocoon Swaddle Bags have a firm fit around the neck, shoulder and chest area to prevent baby from slipping inside. You should be able to put two fingers inside the neck opening for the correct fit. Please do not size up to the next size until your child meets the weight requirement, for safety reasons.

When on a child, the swaddle will have additional length below the harness. This length can be left as is, or rolled up underneath the harness for the child's brace to rest on, if that's comfortable for them. Once the child is out of their hip harness, they can continue to safely use the Cocoon Swaddle Bag until they are ready to move into another Sleeping Bag.

  • 0.2 TOG - perfect for temperatures 22–26°C

  • Do not use bleach-based stain removers on the garment

Warnings:

  • Ensure to buy the correct size for your baby's weight, to prevent the Cocoon Swaddle Bag from riding up around baby's face
  • Not suitable for use in a 5 point harness
  • As this product is made from organic cotton and bamboo and is not treated with chemical fire retardants the following fire label applies

It is mandatory that the fire danger label be displayed on children’s nightwear, in order to comply with the requirements of the Consumer Goods (Children’s Nightwear and limited daywear and Paper Patterns for Children’s Nightwear) Safety Standard 2017.

babyshop provides Flat Rate delivery ($9.95) Australia wide, from Newcastle NSW via Australia Post. babyshop offers FREE DELIVERY for all orders over $150.00.

Orders for 'In Stock' items are dispatched the day of receipt (business days only) where the order is received by us with payment before 3pm AEDT.

Once your order has been dispatched, regular Australia Post delivery times apply.

International Delivery

babyshop is currently only shipping within Australia, and is not providing International Shipping.

Return Options


If for any reason a product is unsuitable, please return the item within 30 days and we will provide an exchange or refund of the purchase price. Postage and handling charges are not refundable.

To return or exchange an item, please contact us via email at sales@babyshop.com.au with the following information when requesting to return an item:

- Order number
- Product name
- Reason for return
- Return for replacement, exchange or refund

We will provide you with return instructions for where to send the package.

All returned products must be in their original sale condition (unused or soiled) with all packaging, tags, labels, manuals and registration cards still attached and included.

Please ensure that returned products are repackaged with care, so that they are in a suitable condition to be re-sold.

Returns of purchases made in store must have a receipt if a refund is required. If no receipt is provided, proof of purchase from our store is required, and an exchange only will be offered.

Please note, there are several types of goods that are exempt from being returned:

- Perishable goods (e.g. food)
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Health or personal care items (especially if they have been opened or unsealed)
- Gift cards/vouchers
- Books, CDs, DVDs (which have been unsealed or show obvious signs of use)

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled or damaged.

Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us and we will provide separate instructions for return, refund or replacement. Please email sales@babyshop.com.au for details before sending the product back to us, as some manufacturers may prefer to deal directly with the customer for their quality control and warranty purposes.
