The Baby Bum Shower is a small, hand-held device that delivers soap and water (or just water) whenever it's needed. It is activated by a simple squeeze of the bottle making it easy to use in the messiest of situations.

Clean up to ten wet nappy changes or dirty hands while taking up minimal space.

The Baby Bum Shower's unique lid ensures that it remains leak proof, with an extra turn that provides a second closure over the water valve.

Use at home on baby's change table or keep in the nappy bag for clean-ups on the go. 

Reduce the impact of wipe disposal, both in money and on the environment - no wipes are required for a wet nappy change, with the amount of wipes required for cleaning a dirty nappy reduced too. The Baby Bum Shower is perfect to use in conjunction with re-usable cloth wipes and modern cloth nappies.

To use:

  1. Twist the lid at the bottom of the device and fill the device with water

  2. Choose a neutral pH balanced emollient based wash (e.g. what you use during baby's bath time)
    Follow the chosen manufacturers guidelines for dilution ratio
  3. Twist the lid back on

  4. Undo the wet/soiled nappy and expose the area to be cleaned, without removing the nappy

  5. Ensure the silicone 'smurf hat' nests between your thumb and finger, allowing for full comfort and control

  6. Apply gentle pressure on the 'smurf hat' to emit a soft squirt over the area being cleaned - any residue will wash into the wet/soiled nappy

  7. For wet nappies, rinse the entire area in contact with urine and remove the wet nappy
    Replace with a clean nappy - you can pat dry the area gently or air dry

  8. For soiled nappies, the soft squirt works to help soften/remove residue first into the soiled nappy
    Approximately 2-3 wipes are then used to remove thicker particles into the nappy
    To finish off, further spray over the area to ensure it's thoroughly clean
    Replace the soiled nappy and air dry

  9. Apply a nappy barrier cream, as required, to assist in maintaining skin barrier function

Our Newcastle Delivery area is south to Swansea, north to Stockton and west to Toronto, with no minimum order value required for free delivery.

There is no need to enter a special promotional code, choose the shipping method 'Newcastle NSW Delivery' at checkout, for orders within the postcode range 2280 - 2309 to receive FREE delivery.

babytaxi deliveries will not have a tracking number/reference, but will be delivered in the afternoon, after store closing time.

Australia Wide Delivery

babyshop provides Flat Rate delivery ($9.95) Australia wide, from Newcastle NSW via Australia Post. babyshop offers FREE DELIVERY for all orders over $150.00.

Orders for 'In Stock' items are dispatched the day of receipt (business days only) where the order is received by us with payment before 3pm AEST.

Once your order has been dispatched, regular Australia Post delivery times apply.

If you need to receive your order by a particular date, please email us at and we will confirm if this is possible.

International Delivery

babyshop can deliver to select international countries.

To enquire if we are able to deliver to your country, and for international shipping and insurance rates, please e-mail us at and we will quote you on the cost of shipping to your country.

International shipping is not currently an available option for ordering via our website.

Please keep in mind that postage overseas can be quite expensive for heavy items (such as bedding and linen) and some items are too large to be sent overseas.

Return Options

If for any reason a product is unsuitable, please return the item within 30 days and we will provide an exchange or refund of the purchase price. Postage and handling charges are not refundable.

To return or exchange an item, please contact us via email at with the following information when requesting to return an item:

- Order number
- Product name
- Reason for return
- Return for replacement, exchange or refund

We will provide you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN#) and instructions for where to send the package.

All returned products must be in their original sale condition (unused or soiled) with all packaging, tags, labels, manuals and registration cards still attached and included.

Please ensure that returned products are repackaged with care, so that they are in a suitable condition to be re-sold.

Returns of purchases made in store must have a receipt if a refund is required. If no receipt is provided, proof of purchase from our store is required, and an exchange only will be offered.

Please note, there are several types of goods that are exempt from being returned:

- Perishable goods (e.g. food)
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Health or personal care items (especially if they have been opened or unsealed)
- Gift cards/vouchers
- Books, CDs, DVDs (which have been unsealed or show obvious signs of use)

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled or damaged.

Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us and we will provide separate instructions for return, refund or replacement.
