Description

Lactivate Silver Nursing Cups are crafted from 999 silver and are designed to help soothe and support the healing of sore, cracked and damaged nipples between breastfeeding sessions. A reusable alternative to nipple creams, they sit discreetly inside the bra to create a protective barrier between sensitive nipples and clothing, helping reduce rubbing and friction.

The contoured one size design leaves space around the nipple, and a few drops of breastmilk can be placed inside each cup as part of a breastfeeding care routine. Removable silicone comfort rings add extra cushioning, and a microfibre polishing cloth and storage case are included. Included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG 530577).

To Use:

  • Wash hands before handling the cups
  • Place a few drops of breastmilk inside each cup
  • Position the cups directly over the nipples so they sit comfortably against the breast
  • Wear inside the bra between breastfeeding or pumping sessions
  • Add the silicone comfort rings for extra cushioning if preferred
  • Remove the cups before breastfeeding or pumping
  • Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly after each use before storing

For best results, use consistently between feeds while nipples are sore, cracked or sensitive.


Care:

  • Before first use, rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth
  • Between uses, rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly
  • To remove tarnish, mix 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda with a few drops of water to form a paste, gently rub over the cups, rinse and dry with a soft cloth
  • Polish gently with the included microfibre cloth as needed
  • Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scourers that may scratch the surface
  • Store clean and dry in the protective case when not in use


Note:

Silver may naturally darken or discolour over time due to oxidation. This is normal and does not affect the use of the cups.

This updated approach allows us to group deliveries by area - helping us get your order to you as efficiently as possible.

Our Newcastle Delivery area is south to Swansea, north to Stockton and west to Toronto.

Delivery Terms

  • Orders ship within 1-2 business days from when payment is received
  • If there is an issue with any items in your order, we will contact you via email or text, prior to dispatch
  • An email update will be sent once your package has been dispatched
  • Australia Post packages will contain a tracking number to track the delivery
  • babytaxi deliveries will not have a tracking number/reference, but will be delivered in the afternoon, after store closing time (Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you have submitted with the order - we cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect.
  • Any orders returned to us, due to an incorrect delivery address or unclaimed through the post office, will be refunded for the product component only.
Return Options


If for any reason a product is unsuitable, please return the item within 30 days and we will provide an exchange or refund of the purchase price. Postage and handling charges are not refundable.

To return or exchange an item, please contact us via email at sales@babyshop.com.au with the following information when requesting to return an item:

- Order number
- Product name
- Reason for return
- Return for replacement, exchange or refund

We will provide you with return instructions for where to send the package.

All returned products must be in their original sale condition (unused or soiled) with all packaging, tags, labels, manuals and registration cards still attached and included.

Please ensure that returned products are repackaged with care, so that they are in a suitable condition to be re-sold.

Returns of purchases made in store must have a receipt if a refund is required. If no receipt is provided, proof of purchase from our store is required, and an exchange only will be offered.

Please note, there are several types of goods that are exempt from being returned:

- Perishable goods (e.g. food)
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Health or personal care items (especially if they have been opened or unsealed)
- Gift cards/vouchers
- Books, CDs, DVDs (which have been unsealed or show obvious signs of use)

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled or damaged.

Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us and we will provide separate instructions for return, refund or replacement. Please email sales@babyshop.com.au for details before sending the product back to us, as some manufacturers may prefer to deal directly with the customer for their quality control and warranty purposes.
