Description

BIBS colour dummies are a cherry-shaped natural latex pacifier, especially developed to soothe and comfort baby while supporting their instinctive need to suckle.

The cherry-shaped (round) nipple is produced from natural latex, which is soft, flexible and durable, whilst the shield is made from Polypropylene (PP), which is a robust and lightweight plastic material. It is gently outwards curved to prevent skin irritation and is equipped with air holes and a security handle.

The Boheme pacifier features a fresh and aesthetic scalloped design.

Sizing help:

For many babies size 1 will be too small - it is most likely that baby will accept a size 2 dummy from beginning to end.

Size 2 is the most commonly used size (labelled as 6-18 months, but suitable for newborn use, as per the manufacturer's recommendation) - the teat length is crucial to getting baby’s sucking reflexes activated.


Note:

If your new dummy is different in size compared to an older dummy, this will be due to the teat expanding through heavy use. The teat is made from a natural material, which doesn’t contain any stabilising chemicals to keep the shape of the nipple.

It is recommended to replace the dummy every 6-8 weeks, or at the first signs of damage or weakness, and have a few in rotation so any size difference isn’t as noticeable.

Pack contains two (2) dummies (one of each colour)


      Storage:

      • Dummies do not come with a cover or a lid
      • Dummies should always be kept dry and protected from dirt
      • Avoid placing the dummy in direct sunlight and heat, as this may weaken the natural latex
      • Do not store the dummies in disinfectant or sterilising liquid, which can affect it's durability

      Cleaning:

      • Before using the dummy for the first time, place it in a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes, then allow it to air dry
      • Before each use, the dummy should be sterilised shortly by pouring boiling water over it
      • As the dummy has a vented nipple, liquid will penetrate into it - when the dummy has cooled, the water can be pressed out of the nipple to ensure hygiene
      • Do not place the dummy in a steriliser of any kind, as the steriliser may become too hot and cause the dummy to bubble

      Please ensure you choose the BIBS dummies carefully, as for hygiene reasons we are unable to accept their return.


      Safety:

      The product complies with Consumer Goods (Babies’ Dummies) Safety Standard AS2432-1991 2017 and European Safety Standard EN 1400.

      For full care and safety instructions, refer to the enclosed leaflet and retain for future reference.

      WARNING:

      • Do not tie dummy around baby's neck as it presents a strangulation hazard
      • A torn or broken dummy poses a choking hazard
      • Inspect carefully before each use, especially when a child has teeth
      • Pull pacifier in all directions
      • Throw away at first signs of damage or weakness
      • Always use this product under adult supervision

      Delivery Terms

      • Orders ship within 1-2 business days from when payment is received
      • If there is an issue with any items in your order, we will contact you via email or text, prior to dispatch
      • An email update will be sent once your package has been dispatched
      • Australia Post packages will contain a tracking number to track the delivery
      • babytaxi deliveries will not have a tracking number/reference, but will be delivered in the afternoon, after store closing time (Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays).
      • Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you have submitted with the order - we cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect.
      • Any orders returned to us, due to an incorrect delivery address or unclaimed through the post office, will be refunded for the product component only.
      Return Options


      If for any reason a product is unsuitable, please return the item within 30 days and we will provide an exchange or refund of the purchase price. Postage and handling charges are not refundable.

      To return or exchange an item, please contact us via email at sales@babyshop.com.au with the following information when requesting to return an item:

      - Order number
      - Product name
      - Reason for return
      - Return for replacement, exchange or refund

      We will provide you with return instructions for where to send the package.

      All returned products must be in their original sale condition (unused or soiled) with all packaging, tags, labels, manuals and registration cards still attached and included.

      Please ensure that returned products are repackaged with care, so that they are in a suitable condition to be re-sold.

      Returns of purchases made in store must have a receipt if a refund is required. If no receipt is provided, proof of purchase from our store is required, and an exchange only will be offered.

      Please note, there are several types of goods that are exempt from being returned:

      - Perishable goods (e.g. food)
      - Intimate or sanitary goods
      - Health or personal care items (especially if they have been opened or unsealed)
      - Gift cards/vouchers
      - Books, CDs, DVDs (which have been unsealed or show obvious signs of use)

      We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled or damaged.

      Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.
