These soft and lightweight silicone one piece soothers are designed to support baby's natural suckling, to help calm or fall asleep.

  • Before its first use, boil the soother in hot water for 5 minutes
  • Allow it to cool thoroughly before giving it to baby and squeeze out any residual water that may still be in the teat

The included sterilisation box can be used to sterilise the Medela Baby soothers in the microwave. Please follow these instructions:

Before use, remove any stickers from the box and wash the soother and box with warm water. Then follow these steps:

  1. Fill water up to the marker 10 ml  for 1 soother or 25 ml for 2 soothers
  2. Place the soother(s) in the box
  3. Close the box and sterilise the soother for 3 minutes in the microwave (max. 1000 W)
  4. Allow to cool for a minimum of 3 min before opening the sterilising box
  5. Squeeze out any residual water from the soother teat

Note: Take extra care when handling and opening the sterilising box - hot steam from within the box can cause burns - always check the temperature of the soother before use.


It is recommended to replace soothers that are in daily use every 1–2 months, to ensure a safe, hygienic condition of the soother and help prevent any bacterial contamination.

Before each use, pull firmly on the teat and inspect it for tears or holes. Always replace the soother at the first sign of wear or damage.


  • Do not tie pacifier around baby's neck as it presents a strangulation hazard

babytaxi deliveries will not have a tracking number/reference, but will be delivered in the afternoon, after store closing time.

babyshop provides Flat Rate delivery ($9.95) Australia wide, from Newcastle NSW via Australia Post. babyshop offers FREE DELIVERY for all orders over $150.00.

Orders for 'In Stock' items are dispatched the day of receipt (business days only) where the order is received by us with payment before 3pm AEST.

Once your order has been dispatched, regular Australia Post delivery times apply.

International Delivery

babyshop can deliver to select international countries.

To enquire if we are able to deliver to your country, and for international shipping and insurance rates, please e-mail us at and we will quote you on the cost of shipping to your country.

International shipping is not currently an available option for ordering via our website.

Please keep in mind that postage overseas can be quite expensive for heavy items (such as bedding and linen) and some items are too large to be sent overseas.

Return Options

If for any reason a product is unsuitable, please return the item within 30 days and we will provide an exchange or refund of the purchase price. Postage and handling charges are not refundable.

To return or exchange an item, please contact us via email at with the following information when requesting to return an item:

- Order number
- Product name
- Reason for return
- Return for replacement, exchange or refund

We will provide you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN#) and instructions for where to send the package.

All returned products must be in their original sale condition (unused or soiled) with all packaging, tags, labels, manuals and registration cards still attached and included.

Please ensure that returned products are repackaged with care, so that they are in a suitable condition to be re-sold.

Returns of purchases made in store must have a receipt if a refund is required. If no receipt is provided, proof of purchase from our store is required, and an exchange only will be offered.

Please note, there are several types of goods that are exempt from being returned:

- Perishable goods (e.g. food)
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Health or personal care items (especially if they have been opened or unsealed)
- Gift cards/vouchers
- Books, CDs, DVDs (which have been unsealed or show obvious signs of use)

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled or damaged.

Refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us and we will provide separate instructions for return, refund or replacement.
